Mizar is a Macedonian rock band formed in 1981 in Skopje and is one of the pioneers of dark sound (darkwave) in Yugoslavia. They broke up in the early 1990s, but reunited in early 2003. In mid-2004 they released the album “Kobna ubavina”, and during 2005 they made a large number of concerts throughout the former Yugoslavia. After that, they released the album “Pogled kon cvetnata gradina”, at the end of 2007, and in 2010 they released the album “Deteto i beloto more”, made in collaboration with the male choir Harmosini, which performs Byzantine spiritual music. In 2022 they returned to the scene with a new album “Večna Praznina”
